Shambles

Hey guys and gals!
I've recently fitted a set of AU 2 Xr rims to my stock Forte and have yet to lower it. The car skips about more noticeably on corrugations and small bumps now. I was wondering how people have got around this; i.e lowering or shock changes. I only want to lower the car about an inch as I do a lot of driving on dirt roads. Does anybody have budget conscious suggestions.

I got 17s, you will never totally get around it, less tyre to cushion the bumps etc, Stock Forte shocks I would imagine would be pretty soft as it is, so better shocks might be a bit of improvement. I have 40 series profile tyres , will be going to 45 profile to get less shaking on bumps, thats the price you pay for 17s upwards unfortunately. Thats my understanding of it anyway.
