Have run a search on tyres but found no real answer. I am about to upgrade to 17" XR wheels and was wondering which tyre was the best tyre for around the $200 mark was leaning towards Falken 326 but not so sure now. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

go with the dunlop sp9000's from the current xr or from the new xr 17" dunlop sp3000's. They might be more expensive but if you like to drive your can hard then they pay for them selves. The mustang has bf goodridges and i have driven this car around a road at 12okm + with tight turns and they are crap. fitted the tyres of the xr 17" and the difference and speed that i was noticing was hugh. With tyres you get what you pay for.

Hmm interesting, i'm just wondering if the new SP3000's are more dearer that the SP9000's.
SP9000's i've heard can go for $400+ each in 17's 235 so if it costs more i'll have to give them a miss.
