18'' on xe esp

i have recently brought a set of 18''amg quake alloys for my esp can any one tell me if this is legal or not wheel place said there ok as it did not change rolling dia true or not ?

The rolling diameter, will depend on the Aspect ratio tyres you use.

done the working out hasent changed rolling dia by any more then 10mm but what is legal rim size or rolling dia

Legal rim size is generlly 2 inch's bigger than the biggest factory option on the car.
Your biggest option on the XE would have been 15".
Give vicroads a call to see what they say.

2 inches from the manufacturers specifications. theyre not legal and any and all insurance companies wont touch you with rims that size on that car. you can put them on but expect a few 'pretty yellow stickers' on your windscreen.

18s on a XE have to be engineered ... would be worth it though ... and probabill pass easy as... except if your using spacers
