there is a *banging* sound when i drive my car and its coming from the passenger side rear eand... i thought when i had someone check the brakes that maybe they didnt put then back on correctly and it was hitting the hub but thats not the case...I ordered a rear spindle from a company in Texas and they sent me a front spindle saying of course after they sold it to me that there is no rear spindle....can someone give me some ideas of what this noise may be so i can fix it correctly?

When does the banging occur? Over bumps, rolling down the road, hitting brakes? Can you bounce the car setting still and hear the noise? Is it a metal sound?

you can hear the noise when i am just driving it......i cannot hear it when i bounce the car and yes it sounds like metal...

If you jack the rear up and turn the wheel, see if you can duplicate it. The sound is rythemic? every revolution of the wheel?
