hypergecko Registered User Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 1	1996 Explorer Rack & pinion removal Hello, I have wasted an entire day trying to figure out how to get the rack & pinion out of my 96 explorer 2wd. The only thing I can see is I might have to pull the drivers side lower control arm off to get the rack out. If anyone has a better solution it would be welcomed, I really don't want to remove the control arm if I don't have too. Thanks Last edited by hypergecko; 10-23-2005 at 06:26.
