You can get air suspension. Air bags along with heavy duty rear shocks will allow a stiffer ride, but you can carry the required load while keeping the vehicle level and preventing it from bottoming out. There are products out there that will allow a smoother ride while allowing you to carry the required payload. Generally increased capacity rear springs and shocks will do the trick at a lower cost then getting custom air bags installed...as they're meant for half ton or higher weight trucks.
