show-off Registered User Join Date: Feb 2005 Posts: 1	2001 Sable/Taurus Front Brakes This is my buddies car. I have changed lots of brakes, but just 1 ford (86 mustang). Are there any special tools? Are the rotors "floating" or held on by a nut? (Will they just come off with a couple good wacks?) What common tools will I need? I have the jacks, C-clamp, impact & such. Are the calipers held on by a bolt or how? I have changed lots of chevy's and dodge's, if someone might give me a detailed break down of the job, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
