Where does one look for a decent set of 2nd hand rims and tyres for an AU2 falcon?

I dont mind going new, but if I can get the same thing for much less, why not...

If you are after steel wheels try local tyre shops, they may have had some traded in. They may also have factory alloys traded.

naaa, i"m thinking 17-18" chromes or something.

I honestly dont like your chances of finding good 17'18' chromies, for any decent money.
But check the atutotrader, ebay etc.

I've got a set at work, 18x8 and 18x9 Japanese rims of some sorts. Buckled and gutter scraped so they'll need a fair bit of work. Silver centre with machined lip. The lot's yours for $200. However, this is in Sydney and you'd have to organise freight if you decide that you want to bother doing all that.
