225/40/17 front
245/45/17 rear

making the rear a little bigger to give it that "tuff" look.

225/40R17 is way too small for a Falcon. If you want fats on the back, get 15" rims.

I have run 255/40/17, but yes, 225/40 is to small.

I have 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 on the rear and it's a good combination with almost the same rolling diameter but 20mm wider on the rear.

Thats what i have aswell.
But my 17x8's have been sold, and 235 is the widest that will go on my 7.5's

just for info, based on 205/65/15 being original tyre/rim combo on the car.

245/45/17 rears = @100 kmh you will be going 5k's faster then shown
245/40/17 rears = @100 kmh you will be going 3k's faster then shown

I may look at 235-255 combo again, it looks sweet aswell.

I've had them on for around 2 years now, done about 35k, drag raced, Wakefield park twice, and constantly cain it on the road. I've also had 1000kg in the tray, with a 2000kg of trailer behind it.......

The pics compare the 235/45 to the 255/40.

What brand 255's do you run?
the ones ive looked at are a bit pricey.
