5 stud brakes?

Ive just bought a TE Corty 2.0L as a runabout and i was told that i can bolt on 5 stud falcon disks and calipers and use some mags off my old XA.
Does anyone know if this is true?

Cheers

Re: 5 stud brakes?

I think it is "Not True" or else everyone would have 5 stud axles. I think a Mark 1 Zephyr will fit or an old XM Falcon but they are rare. Castlemaine Rod Shop has them custom made but uses HQ (not Holden crap) brakes.
Anyone else know ???

Stephen

The rod shop sells falcon discs to suit Cortinas:

Also, here is a TD that has had the falcon conversion:

Re: 5 stud brakes?

The CRS kit uses the old two piece XB discs which have to be slightly modified, and some spacers to thicken up the stub axles, there maybe a variant with P76 discs. Both use the commodore calipers. restudding the rear axles is not too expensive. And you end up with a ford not a holden stud pattern.
