i am running a 265/40 tyre on the back of mine & there is still heaps of room to play with

there is a thread on here in regards to widening the standard GT rims, do a search for it as you may find some larger sizes there

regards

the XR8 & the Pursuit all share the same back so you can fit atleast 18 X 8, i have not tried to fit any wider rim on the back of mine but there is heaps of room in there

Re: 9.5 inch rims on a ute?

I reckon you could easily go up to 10" on the back of those utes. You can run a 10" wheel on the back of an AU so I can't see why would utes be any different.
