Has anyone here given their EA-ED falc a brake upgrade (asside from drilled/slotted standard rotors)

If so, what did you do, cost? Effectiveness?

Any Calliper upgrades????

I just really need ideas for my EB351 project. To be complianced it needs 'more than standard' brakes.

Best thing to do would be to talk to Cebco, or Racebrakes.
I have a Cebco Twin piston 330mm upgrade on my ED XR6, best money ive ever spent.

Mine has teh Saloon car set up which has a seperate hub and slip on disc.
Its worth $2700.
The Street setup, with the bearing in hub is abotu $2300.

Mine is 330 and 4 piston A.P's, braided lines, aligned and fitted just under $3k..
BIG difference...Need 17 " wheels..

Is twin piston calipers with standard diameter drilled/slotted discs with XR8 booster considered a reasonable upgrade? Much of a difference?

Got them at Specialised brake and clutch St Marrys 9623 8070
Wholesale suspension fitted the while upgrading suspension...

ScoopED, im not sure how you would go fitting them up, you still have to modify the upright to fit the caliper on.

Do a search in the Brake tech area, there is my thread called, "Boot full of scrap"
This will give you an idea what has to be done to the uprights.

I did the EL GT brake setup after market. 330mm rotor twin piston calipers, modified spindle as per cebco all for under $1500. I work for Coventrys so staff price comes in handy.
