I'm throwing on a new set of wanli 235/45/R17 on the car tomorrow just wondering if anyone else has usde them before?

Had a set on my car last week, a mate got them to test em out at the drags, weren't very good, so I borrowed em for one night to "scuff" em up a bit on the street.
They grip OK in the dry, but I hit a round-a-bout that had water on it from sprinklers, and the ass went almost 90 degrees
Good stuff if your into throwing the ass end out with almost no control, but not my cup of tea.

Wanli? maybe if you don't wanna live a bit longer you would have these tyres fitted. Do you drive a Ford or Holden? If it's a Holden, sure go get them, the less of you on the street the better!.. .. jk.

well last time i checked i definately drove a ford unfortunately most of my mates are in holdens.... the wanli's gave a nice soft ride and not bad in the wet if you dont drive to hard, havent had a chance to test in the dry yet though!!!! i expect im gonna wanna light em up though!!!

I got them on my 19's, obviously the pricing is very good,thats their best feature I'm afraid.
Not bad in the dry but it's a lottery feel in the wet. Got to be gentle with the right foot,rear end lets go like a chook with its head cut off ! Doesn't know which way to go LOL
Good fun though !!!!!
Oh yer won't be putting them on again unless I'm broke.......

The ls1 guys reckon they have been one of the best street tyres for the drags and dry weather and they lasted a country mile....but they also said they were a tad scary in the wet. Maybe a good set for the strip...how much each for 18's?

got all 4 for $615 with fitting, alignment and balancing shouldn't be much more than $700 for 18's IMO.
