Does anyone have some pictures of a newer Focus with a lowering kit. I wanted to get an idea of what they look like. Im planing on maybe doing mine very little, I just want to get the rear end sitting lower. Thanks in advance.
What year focus do you have and how low are you wanting to go? 1.0inch, 1.5inch 2.0inch?
I have an 2009 SES I dont want to go too low something that I can still handle going over speed bumps and not bottom out when leaving parking lots etc. Im thinking like just 1.0inch or can I just lower the rear some?
Well going 1.0 inch is okay on the stock suspension components as far as cambers bolts and adjustments, if you want to go 1.5 inch which is what everyone usually goes with, Eibach makes all types of kit at all levels of lowering, also H&R racing springs.
I personally am going with a 1.5 inch drop from Ford racing performance, I got the kit sitting right next to me waiting to be installed. But with a 1.5 inch drop you will need camber bolts int he rear.
Is there any way to just lower the rear some. Because to me it looks weird with the back sticking up. I know they do that for a reason but we dont carry alot with us nor have lots of passangers back there. Kinda like a reverse leveling kit for a car lol Sorry It might just be the truck in me. I will check out those companies though. Thanks.
Yeah its def getting some tint in the next 2 weeks. Thats first. Then maybe small lowering kit and I want to do something about the speakers maybe upgrade them and switch out the factory sub and quiet down the inside.
