Attempt:

fitting an AU premium package to an AU S1 Forte base
package consits of:
TE twin piston calipers and brackets
Hp4000 DBA rotors
Metal Kings pads

ok teh problem we are facing at the moment we having two lugs coming off the soindl assymbly. they are in teh way of sitting the new bracket and caliper. we werent game nough to cut them off as yet as we dont know how and where we have to fit the new brackets ...
has anyone done this before? has any pictures of a TE50 assembly with rotors removed and anly teh bracket there.

any sort of information is apprecited

ok after spending an hour on fords parts database and on teh phone to barious brake ppl we have found:

the T series spindl assembly SHOULD bolt straight onto the AU S1 strut setup. we also found teh S1 came out with a premium package on the XR series. so anyone here with an AU S1 with premium brakes?

well basically i am looking for the part indicated in the picture attached ...

Ive never heard of a premium brake package on the series 1 XRs. The T spindils will fit in but any series 2 spindls will fit.....

do u mean the T series spindle fits or doesnt fit or does the S2 spindle fit or does not fit?

Yep they fit as there the same as S2 ........Still dont think S1 XRs had premium brake package. The S2s did thats were I think your getting mixed up........

The only Twin Piston, Premium brake setup on the AU1 was the T series Twin pistons.

Evil, have you tried Cebco, they do the Spindles.
Whatever you do dont just cut off the lugs.

cebco doesnt like selling their gear in parts ... either complete package or ...

well i have received new information and graphs, which opens new doors, tomorrow i gonna convince a mate to let me borrow his S3 and let me pull the brakes off :D

however i gonna keep the T spindle assymbly as backup option.

And dont worry i never even intended to cut of the lugs ... i have been suggested to that for the conversion, but i know a little of structural intergrity of metals and how they are casted, besides the S1 calipers are on the wrong side anyway

the project continues ... i hope by next week we gonna have an accetable solution ... keep yas posted. thx for the info
