Question AU rims on E series?

Apologies as I'm sure this has been asked many times before.

Will AU wheels fit on an E-series? I was under the impression that they didn't, but I saw a EL today with polished AUII XR rims, and it looked bloody great.

Help anyone?

Re: AU rims on E series?

If you do a search you will find this is asked every couple of weeks. No they don't fit, totally different offset. Some people do fit them with spacers, but in most states they are illegal, not to mention dangerous. There are also adaptor plates which as far as I am aware are legal, but cost somewhere between $100-200 per wheel. Finally there are copies now available to suit Pre-AU falcons.
