cool AU ser3 ABS into EA ser1

I have all the abs gear out of an AU ser3, i want to put it into my EA ser1. At the same time i am upgrading my brakes. Do i need special calipers and rotors to install the au abs into my ea.

all original wiring is going into the ea.. a full AU transplant so i just need to know are abs calipers and rotors special to normal ones.. ???

The calipers are the same on ABS and non-ABS cars. The rotors are different. ABS rotors have a tone wheel in them, this is what the sensor 'reads' to tell how fast the rotor is spinning. You could use EB ABS rotors but one thing I'm unsure of is if the EB and AU tone wheels have the same number of slots in them and whether it would affect operation if they differ.

Ask dba or check them at your local parts store for any differences...
