For AU's you need rims with a positive offset between 30mm and 40mm. The AU1 and AU2 17" Tickfords have an offset of 36mm. For example, if you had two rims of 17" by 8", one with a +30mm and the other with a +40mm offset, the +30mm would stick out 10mm more towards the guard lip than the +40mm rim. Offsets of 0 to +10mm are for pre AU Falcons. You can fit pre AU Falcon rims onto AU's, but not vise versa, it'll just stick out 30mm more towards the guard lip that's all. Might be ok on the rear, just to fill the guards up a bit more and would give a AU a wider track at the rear.
