I'm looking to get some new wheels for my AU2 XR8, but would like to put my XR8 wheels onto my old EF XR6, does anyone know what needs to be done to get the offset the same.. Do I need spacers or do the wheels need to be machined so that they fit correctly? Has anyone done this or is it just too much hassle.
You should be able to locate a supplier in the UK no worries. The hub adaptors (not spacers) should be 30mm minimum, but anything over will make the rims stick out further..not cool. Check with your local authorities and your insurance as they are a bit of a grey area here in Oz.
