AU XR ute rear suspension troubles

Has anyone had the same problem as me with their AU XR ute right hand rear wheel rubbing on the tub(thats with no load in the back). If so are there any fixes for the problem. Ford dont seem to have solutions. The diff actually floats from side to side around 40mm. Most off the XR utes ive looked at have the same problem.

hi
i think i know whats the cause of your rear end floating around check the u bolts holding the springs i have seen several utes twist these and make the back the car very unstable u will have to go to an after market shop to buy u bolts or get some made up the torque of the motor tends to twist them poss a suspension place would proberly have them
try it and let me know either by e mail johnmans@atu.com.au or posting a result here on this web site it wont cost much but the new u bolts are worth thier weight in gold
