Hi I have an el xr6 5 speed man, I get axle tramp, i changed the back shockers but I still get it, mostley in wet at intersections it seems to loose traction very easy (its getting very annoying), could it be the rear control arms?
I also instaled K-Mac camber caster kit onto the car when i go over the speed humps or bumps on the road it sounds like a rubber squeek noise, should i lub the rubbers p with something or loosen some bolts?

Silicon spray is the thing to use for trying to quiet down suspension squeaks.

Your rear end traction issue might well be due to excessively stiff rear suspension - ie. too hard springs or shocks or both - or perhaps too stiff a sway bar. My suspension actually almost feels soggy in the arse thru corners but by christ that's at frightening speed and the rear grips like buggery even on very choppy surface. Go-kart hard suspension might FEEL sporty but there's a very real difference between that and ACTUALLY handling well.

Axle tramp by definition is when the axle bounces violently under hard accelleration, commonly related to leaf sprung cars.

What you havwe described is poor traction and i'd agree with ED Futura that you might want to try softening up the rear suspention a little bit.

How do you over come this problem in a leaf sprung car?
In particular an XD Sedan?
