As im buying a new xr8 in a month or 2, i was wondering if the GT-P brakes would fit on a ba xr8. And the GT-P brakes are the Brembo 355x32mm ones arnt they. Bloke my old man knows has a gt-p and wants bigger brakes (dunno why) and said he would be happy to sell his old ones to me. He wasnt very clear about the price but i got the feeling that he doesnt want to much for them so i'd consider putting them on. Is there any problems that i might run into if i try to fit these besides having to run 18'' wheels. Will they bolt up right up or is there special brakets/mounting plates they need to be made or fitted.

You'll need the brackets to fit them other than that they will fit, He wont need the brackets, because the new callapers will come with them to fit the new setup....

A reasonable price would be around $4000 for all 4 rotors, calipers, and anything else you will need.

Well that is probably what I would sell them for, they are a $5000 option aren't they?

And i've heard of a couple of people putting similar brakes onto AU's and BA's and paying over $6,000.
