Hey all if you read my thread from yesterday you'll understand i broke the lower bolt going into the caliper! Well i couldnt get it out even with the right tool, so i called a pro to do it tomorrow.

Before i did that tho i went to ABS they told me to take off the whole caliper housing part bring it ni and they'll remove the bolt if you know what i mean. So i unbolted the top bolt near the base of the spring, bottom one where the steering arm goes to and the one at the back center of the rotor. Well i couldnt get the thread part of the whole housing to come loose! So i bashed it with a hammer, but stupid me stuffs up the treading! I had a close look at it is seems this part can be replaced? Is this the ball joint?? Is it hard to do?

Have a look at these (right click - open in another window) and tell us what bit it is most like (which part on which picture):

None of them are your car exactly (some are not even Fords - I miss the hemi in the Valiant but not the seasonal rust in the Valiant) but some bits are common and will look similar so we will be able to ID what you have broken. Look all 8 pics as several guesses from you should narrow it down.

thanks for the pictures, it was the lower ball joint, i ended uop replacing the whole stub axle istead. Thanks anyway.
