Just wondering what you guys thought are the best looking wheels for the AU? Im wanting somthing at least 18inch's prefer 19's...... i was even thinking of having 19's on the front and 20's on the rear. But the only thing is that i havent seen 2 many nice wheels on the AU's. Does anybody have any suggestions?

If you reckon you haven't seen too many nice looking wheels for an AU, and I reckon i have and we have looked at the same wheels, how is my opinion going to make a difference to you? Are you after wheels that other people think are nice, but that you're not too sure about?

Taste/opinions issues aside, the Herrods/BBS rims look great on AUs or BAs. Simmons mags (any of them) look great on any car, including AUs. Personally, I reckon the Speedy Spyder are a pretty good looking wheel.


Here's a pic of the above wheel in 17x8" fitted to my XR6. In 18x8.5, they look even better. Unfortunately, I don't think they come in 19".


And 19" on the front and 20" on the rear would not be legal - rims must be the same diameter front and back (though width can vary) unless the car came standard with different sizes, or unless you have an engineers report.

I love the herrod/BBS wheels, but i spoke 2 jeff at herrods and he said u can no longer get those wheels because they are now sold only 4 the DJR cars! Ive seen a few other nice wheels but are unsure of their names..... thats why im asking what u guys think are nice wheels for the AU.....

What a load of shit, got these put on a month ago BBS mags 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears $1050 each mag tyres are the same as the DJR car 245/35R19 $690 each and 285/30R19 $820 each, I DID NOT GET THESE THROUGH HERRODS AS THEY WANT TO KNOW WHO GOT THEM FOR ME.

Wheels are a indvidual thing. Have a look in this months motor mag at the wheels ive got on my T3 I think they look smart and most of all there ezy to clean. But thats my taste might not be yours.......
