Whilst perusing the DBA online catalogue just now I noticed they already list a replacement disc (acailable in slotted or cross drilled) for the BA "Barra" Falcon.
298 x 28 vented for the front.
303 x 16 solid for the rear.
So for the record:
AU I 287mm f/r, 24mm thick f/ 287mm 10.4mm thick r
AUII/III 287mm f/r, 287mm f /16 mm r
BA 298 mm 28mm f, 303mm 16mm r
Standard T series
329 mm 28mm front Vented 300x28mm rear
So for a standard Barra:
a 12mm increase in front rotor size over AUIII
a 16mm increase in rear rotor size over AUIII
Compared to the AUI the front is 4mm thicker and the rear 5.5mm thicker. Not a massive increase but a sustancial increase none the less.
No doubt the Brembo option is avalible with 329mm front discs and 4 spot Brembo calipers.
That means a mean stability control or trac control system. The M3 has bigger back brakes than front. Also if you do a few laps wth the electronic control in the m3 on when you pull up inthe pits the rear brakes are smoking and front aren't!!
