Bilstein Shocks

On my old EA I replaced the original Bilstein shocks and thought there was something wrong because the car was miraculously lowered considerably.
Asking a mate to take a look, he noticed the spring sat 20mm lower than the originals. this resulted in great handling with reasonable ride.:s6:

1. Has anyone else experienced this.

2. Is there an equivalent for an AU XR6.

Re: Bilstein Shocks

Some Bilsteins have a groove and c-clip holding the spring saddle on. They also have multiple grroves so you can adjust the saddle position.

Re: Bilstein Shocks

Cool thanks. Didnt notice an adjustability but then again, I am no mechanic. Just learnt as I go on what I have to do!
