Just wondering about changing the front brake callipers on my EL XR8... to AU XR ones... (the ones that had the Tickford wings on them)
Can this be done??

If not, I heard that there was a twin pistion calliper option made for the EL XR's is this true?? and any ideas where you'd find them??

The EL GT had twin pistons, but to run them you will have to get new uprights as the discs where bigger.

The standard AU XR callipers don't have the tickford wings on them.

The premium ones do, but you would require new discs, new upright etc in addition to the callipers.

The cheap option is to paint the tickford symbol on the calliper. i used model paint for mine, and it's been there for 18 months. See blurry pic below:
