Brake problems
I have a 1967 ford F-100 mounted on a 1975 F-150 4X4 frame and axles. The front axle is where I am having problems.
The brakes used to be drums the I up graded to 1978 F-150 knuckles and Disc Brakes. The problem I am having is the Caliper MOVES up and down. Up or Foreward when the brakes are applied and back when the brakes are released.
I have replaced the bakcking plated that the calipers mount to along with the caliper mounting hardware (the spring and Keeper). And I am still having the same problems.
What can I do? Is it possible to convert to a set of dare I say Chevy Knuckles and Brakes?
