Just a quick question, would the front disc's and calipers off a newer falcon (than my '93 XG) , say an EL, for example be a worthwhile brake upgrade, or should I just be heading straight for the aftermarket? I can slot them at my work on the mill, so I can upgrade them a bit in that way.
i am not sure what sort of brakes fit straight onto a 93 flacon, belive the GT brakes would be interesting to look at, but AU ones will defeinately not fit as i am working on them atm ..
I dont think anyone does upgrade kits for XG's, as they have the same brakes as the XF.
Speak to Racebrakes, or Cebco, maybe even Hopper Stoppers may be able to do you something with the older style.

You won't see much gain going from XG to EL. There is bugger all differance in rotor or pad size. Look towards better pads and slotted or crossdrilled/slotted rotors for the XG. Otherwise you will be better off going for an aftermarket setup.
