Re: brake upgraging for EB

To get AUII front brakes you need to change the knuckles, rotors, hubs, struts, calipers, and spindles, but you do get 300mm twin spot brakes

Try Hoppers Stoppers in Hoppers Crossing, they do some pretty good things, I think they have a new E-series system, based on VY Commodore brakes for under $1000, for the complete kit

Re: brake upgraging for EB

Brakes are something i definately wanna upgrade. Even an upgrade to EF brakes would be sufficient for now. Apart from ABS, how do EF-> brakes differ to lets say EA brakes?? The difference is pretty noticable between the two...

seriously mate , THE front calipers are the same, the front rotors are the same, the only difference, is the rear disks with ef 's having thinner ones, and thhe design of the rear calipers, ef 's have a shoe for a hand brake, whereas the eb's have the hand brake as part of the caliper

Re: brake upgraging for EB

You could go out and get some ELGT/Mustang/Saloon car brakes.
They make a huge differance.
Well worth the money.

There is no straight bolt on upgraded caliper that will go on the EA/L.
ELGT had a different Upright/spindle.

OED,

how do you find the slotted+x-drilled in regards to pad usage? Id like to get some of these but im wary because ive heard they go through pads like there's no tomorrow. How long are you getting out of a set of pads? (Im pretty hard on my brakes).
