My brakes warning light is coming on when I accelerate from a stop. It used to not come on at all, then it started to flicker for a moment (a few weeks ago), but now it comes on when I come out of a stop and stays on for a while.

Any idea what this means?

Have you checked the brake fluid level in the reservoir?

you should also check your break pads as well before topping up the fluid, if the pads need changing dont top up utill you change them as this will lead to the resivour overflowing when you do.

Thanks for the replies. I hadn't thought to add more fluid before, since it was about half-way between the Max and Min lines. I filled it back up and the light is gone.
