Caliper Upgrade

I Have an EF xr 6 with 18 in rims, and dba gold (drilled, slotted) rotors, and i need something better to stop me.

Will the Premium brake calipers bolt from the au's on or did they change things around

any help would be appreciated , also does anybody know the part no for ebc green stuff pads with abs to suit current set up. Also to my knowledge endless dont do a pad for falcons do they?

I just went through the same process on my EL II XR8. Cebco brakes were very helpfull and offer a excellent package. I almost purchased their upgrade package until I drove an XR8 Sprint that had DBA gold longlife rotors and EBC greenstuff pads.

I decided that for my stopping needs that the DBA rotors and EBC pads well all I needed, at about 1/3 of the cost.

The part No. for the EBC greenstuff pads are DP 21503 - Front
and DP 21501 - Rear. EBC also manufacture good looking rotors but unfortunately not for Falcons yet.

Yep - GreenStuff pads just about make yer eyeballs come out the front of yer face when ya stand on em! - the terrific thing is the feel too - ie. you can really lean hard on them and pull up extremely quickly without actually tripping the ABS.

BTW - when I had GreenStuffs I was concerned about the amount/rate of wear on the discs, but since going to Bendix Ultimates I've found that they cause just as much wear - but don't pull up as well or with as much feel as the Green Stuffs.

I also had Longlife Gold rotors but they developed a problem with shuddering under light braking - I put slotted only rotors on and haven't had any dramas.
