Hey Guys
Just wondering if ya could give me a hand?

my cousin just gave me the job of fitting king springs into his XE Fairmont Ghia (he knows nothing about cars except driving them)
and we managed to get the back ones in pretty easy but the front ones are a pain in the arse by the looks
so my question is how do go about removing the front springs to put the low ones in?
any help would be much appreciated

lift the car on a chassies jack ,clamp the spring with the right tool and release the lower ball joint after removing the shock , easy

if you use the crap spring clamps meant for struts you'll need to remove the plate that has the bump stop fitted, you have to unbolt shocker and compress the spring.(i'm not telling you the "dangerous way i get them out normally")
if you bought lowered springs they are usually low enough that they dont need compressing to refit

if u cant get aaccess to spring clamps you can do it the old fashioned way,
hammer and a big pole just watch up when the spring pops out
but having the correct tools will help
