Clanging noise around front drivers side susp. area

Hey

My cars making a clanging or a knocking noise coming somewhere from around the front drivers side suspension area. It sometimes does it when i make a hard left at slow speed like 20kph (it probably does it at higher speeds but i cant hear it) and when hitting a bump whilst turning left (does it 99% of the time turning left over a bump and every now and then it'll do it hitting a bump straight on).

I know very little about suspension components but if anyone could help me out it would be apprecieated.

Jack it up and check that the Springs are seated properly, i should have said that before.
Just check all the bolts in the Suspension.

yea , as TIKFD6 said check and tighten every bolt/nut you can see down there. Especially your steering rack mounts. Take a can of silicon spray down with you and soak all the rubbers in it...
