Coil Spring options for a '92 Grand Marquis?
My air-ride '92 Grand P-o-S Marquis has deflated...something wrong with the compressors. To avoid a repair that may cost more than the car is worth, I'm gonna replace the air springs with coil springs...again, this is just for the rear. I want to pull them off some other car sittin' around a junkyard. (This car is to get me from A to B, for the next couple of months 'til I put the finishing touches on my new car fund).
My question is: what years of Crown Vic's & Grand Marq's can I pull the springs from that will be compatible with my '92?
Of course any suggestions you may have that might get me a pair of rear springs for under $200 and preferably less than $100 is welcome. If retailers or manufacturers are considered, I'm in the U.S.
