Just took delivery of a MKII GT-P, and reading the drivers book of do's and dont's, I came across page 155 "Tyre Rotation", it depects the tyre rotation sequence for GT and GT-P.

Then below it ina greyed box with an exclamation mark (!) (I guess it is important note) the rear wheels fitted to GT and GT-P have a different off set to the front wheels, and MUST NOT be fitted to the front axle. Rear wheels are labelled "REAR USE ONLY".

So where do you use the long awaitied spare 5 alloy (19"), and what do you do to help tyre wear if you cant rotate the damn things??

Any ideas from the team!!!

The spare can go on any corner until you get the damaged tyre/wheel repaired or replaced. The lower on the back is intended to do two things:

1. Increase rear track and make the car more stable
2. Make the back of the car look beefier.

As for wear, there's not much you can do. The only thing you CAN do is get the tyres taken off the rims and rotated. I don't like your chances of getting four strip & fits, and balances for under $50 though.
