Difference between 1998 and 1999 Crown Victoria 16 spoke alloy rims
A curb chewed up a 16 spoke alloy rim (stamped 99) on my '99 Crown Vic. The part number stamped on the 1999 rim is XW7Z 1007 AA. It is a 16x7 rim.
I found a wrecker who has a 16x7 1998 rim (stamped 98) off a Grand Marquis that has the 16 spokes and it appears to be the same as the 1999 rim off the Crown Vic excepting for the curb's teeth marks on the 1999 rim. The part number stamped on the 1998 rim is F7AZ 1007 AA.
What is the difference between the 1998 rim and the 1999 rim?
