How do you tell if you have ABS? Can you tell from looking at the disks? (it is on an NC fairlane which I assumed would have ABS, but I want to check)

Check for an ABS module under the front lhs wheel arch, secondly when you turn your key on do u get a red "Check ABS" light as it goes into selftest.
thirdly check the dash for ABS fuses or in the engine bay..

Or you could check the lazy way. On a wet deserted (private) road, doing say...60km/h...slam the brake paddle to the floor. If the wheels lock up.. no ABS. If the wheels don't lock,..have ABS.

also if you were to get under the car, you could easily see if there is a tone wheel on the rotor, but you need to know what to look for, and its a little hard to describe
