does anyone know if theres dropped spindles available for a XY that allows you to use a ford disc & caliper combo?? Car rides a bit hard as I've got about a 3 1/2 - 4inch drop. I can only track down either full after market combo's (willwood etc) or ford disc/holden caliper??
HQ drop stub axles are probably the closest to maintaining ford parts. I am looking at this for my XC -> HQ drop stub axles, 2" drop, $400 changeover for the pair from CRS.
oldxr: how has your experience with holden drop spindles been? I don't really wanna put holden bits in my falcon.
Who cares if you have Holden bits in your car? No one will know except you. Fact is, using the Holden bits will allow you to achieve a lower, more comfortable ride, so get over your brand obsession and use what's best for your application.
There was one in melb. trading post a few weeks ago, spindles, discs, 4 spot calipers etc, unused I think for $2000neg. Since found out you can bring them in from the states (for mustang, but same as falcon) for around $1200 - $1500
