E-Series wheels on AU

Was driving down the street just before and i came across an AU2 XR ute. Quite normal i know, except that one of the wheels that was on it was off an EB Fairmont Ghia. Looked like it was being used as a spare. I was under the impression that the e-series and AU had differnt wheel offset.

Whats the explanation guys?

Re: E-Series wheels on AU

It will fit, but it may have been hanging out the guard a little?

Rick.

Re: E-Series wheels on AU

my dipshit drivers used to grab 15" eL steelies off the rack as replacements for busted ones... a couple of weeks later i'd spot this 'fat' looking wheel on an AU.. they fit, no problems they just look odd

Re: E-Series wheels on AU

Oh ok, so then does this mean that AU wheels should fit on E-Series ones?

Re: E-Series wheels on AU

The AU's do look pretty mad with e-series mags on them, there is one cruising around here and it makes the wheels look really fat
