ive got an EA II and constantly even with wheel allingments every few months the car is chewing the outside of the passanger tyre. The middle and inside have 1/2 to 3/4 tread and the outside is amost bald.

The car has a camber kit installed, yet the front bushes are shot. Could the worn bushes be a factor towards the damage to the tyres? Worn/damaged ball joins have allso been sujested as the problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

if your suspension is not in good nick then you will wear tyres no matter how much you align it.

also you may be driving to quickly around corners - the faster you go the more outside tyre wear you will get - after (or at the same time) you get all your worn bits replaced i strongly reccomend lowering your car...give it about 2 degrees negative camber and you will have no troubles

im a very sedate driver and rairly thrash the car...however the suspension bushes are all screwed.....
