Got my first Falcon 93 ED. I'm not knowledgable on the way Falcons operate. All you ED owners can you tell me is it normal on the ED's to have hard brake pedal on these models. Even after you overhaul the system?

My ED has a spongey piece of sh#t pedal that has me cringing every time I use it.

I wish it was solid like yours!

Welcome mate, ive driven alot of EB/D's, and not one of them has had a hard brake pedal.
What do you call an overhaul?

If you wish to learn, buy a Gregories manual, and read it.

my ED's got a soft brake pedal too and my EA one was slightly stiffer. all EA-ED's ive driven have had a softish brake pedal.

Thanks for the feedback, the ovehaul was new master cylinder, pads , and all 4 discs machined. I've got a gregories manual and it states to check the booster which is working fine. Cant see what else it could be unless it has the wrong pads. Would heavy duty hard compund pads make any difference?

Yes the compound could have somthing to do with it.

Hard compound (metal) pads will work better when hot, but need high pedal pressure to work when cold.
Soft pads only need light pedal pressure when cold, but fade quickly when hot.

I prefer hard pads, as you need them most when hot (read - driving spirited).
