my EF has developed a bit of a creak when rocking the steering wheel back and forth while stationary with the brakes on, doesnt do it once brakes are released. Also if I travel very slowly over uneven ground the front left creaks.

The car has been lowered with king spring lows and no camber kit fitted.
Im thinking it may be the control arm bushes on that side. The car drives fine and it does not seem to be steering related ( rack or rod ends etc )

It does it mostly when entering a driveway and only on the passenger side front wheel

Has anyone had this before?

I had similar drama in my XF , turned out to be the ilder arm.

I also have a EF which had developed a front end creak that sounds very similar to your car. Turned out to be the sway bar mount "D rubbers" that wrap around the sway bar.You could try putting some grease in the mounts to stop them from drying out, it will keep them quiet for a couple of months but the creak will return.Best thing to do is replace them because they will be perished. I tried the geniune rubber ones but after a year the creak came back. Now using "Noltec" rubbers which like Nolythan but not as hard and have had no noises yet
