OK lads, here's my current situation.....

Don't want to go over the top on costs as I'm eyeing off a BA GT in about 18mths time. EL XR8 has 95,000 kms on it and the shockies are stuffed - keen on Konis but would entertain other options. Don't want to go lower as it scrapes over enough stuff now.

Do I .....

1. retain original XR springs and slip in some new Konis (suggestions on colour ranges welcome) and replace bushes
2. toss both shocks and springs and get some newies of the same height and maybe slightly firmer.
3. Keep existing shocks and springs and get the shocks reconditioned.
4. Sell up and buy the GT early :-)

Option 1 or 4 are most sensible.
Option 2 is not neccesary, and option 3 doesn't work very well.

I would use Konis or Bilsteins.

Thanks guys ..... probably #1 for time being. I want to see if the GT will be losing some weight for BAII to keep Mr HSV at bay.
