Fiesta ABS retrofit

Hi guys,

I have a plain old Mark V (2006) Fiesta 1.4 without ABS. Is it possible to retrofit ABS to my car? Will it be a major modification or bolt-on change?

Thanks,
Jo

Re: Fiesta ABS retrofit

Could be wrong but almost sure that year/model already has ABS as standard equipment .

Re: Fiesta ABS retrofit

Hi R.S.Logan,

Mine is the 1.4 base model sold in South Africa. All other models came standard with ABS but mine definitely doesn't have it. Airbags yes, but no ABS.

Do you know how complex it will be to retrofit?

Thanks

Re: Fiesta ABS retrofit

I'm not a versed on the models sold outside the US, but typically, all models are harnessed for all options. I'd suggest maybe a donor car, and moving parts over.
