I'm low on brake fluid and just wanna know, is it ok to simply top it up with new fluid? Im thinking that i should actually get a proper flush done and put all new fluid in, but for the time being, can i just put more in, or is cross contamination an issue?

I have never had a problem with topping up. Though why is your fluid low ???
You may be due for a pad change. If so and you have topped it up make sure you remove some fluid when you change the pads otherwise it will overflow.

try not to cross brake fluids, but at least get the correct standard, they have a dot rating, no idea what it should be fro your car as it would have ABS.

Yeah, no idea why it's low. Im getting occasional grinding when braking at low speed too, so i think it might be time to do the whole lot - rotors, pads and fluid.
