I am just thinking out loud here cos Im bored at work again.

My car will be done soon and I want to get a set of EF/EL steelies for the EB for when we go to heathcote and such.
I wondering what it costs to get them made wider and how much wider can they be made.

What kind of business would do it?

You need to find a place that repairs wheels, they do it.
It cost my friend around the $200-$300 mark to get done, but he had them put his stock centres on a chrome outer, and that cost a bit more.
You can go as wide as you want, they just weld the centre on the new outer.

G'day, Dan. Steve at Eastern Wheel Works or AJ's Wheel Center, both in Bayswater, will help you out. They did a full set of GT five slots with caps for under $650.00. The rear were 10" and the front were 5". I'm guessing you havn't had any tubbing or diff shortening done, but!! If not, then go for a 50% offset 8" wide rear with a 245 or there abouts slick and you'll be banging in the good times at the track
I was told that to get wider than 10 inches it would cost mega bucks 'cos they have to weld two rims together to get virtually any width you like, but it does cost, hence why I only got 10" done...
Anyways, good luck with it all and I reckon your EB will look f**ken tuff with a decent set of fats out back!!!

Had a set of 15 x 10`s made up years ago at Wheels in Ballarat. I supplied centres and they supplied the rims and made them up. Cost about $100 each I think from memory
