Hey dudes. Pulled up the handbrake and it snapped the cable from where it attaches to the bottom of the umbreallar :(
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone before? And are they easy to install remove...ive seen how it runs from the back of the engine bay to the back of the car..looks kinda of hardish.
Thanks

the new part is $50 from repco
i installed it myself
you dont need a jack, just get a manual off a mate, look at how it comes apart. fairly easy. no special tools required or anything.
but yea, a manual makes it easy.
good luck =)
if you get stuck pm me and i will help you.
Mine broke about a month ago too, as others have said it is a simple job to change. I was surprised that Ford was actually the cheapest for a new clutch cable, so just go and get a new one from them.
Why don't you just do what my mate did?
Snapped the cable in his XA, so he carried around two bricks in the back seat to chock the wheels whenever he stopped. Worked quite well. :)
