i had them in a 19x30x265 gave them the thumbs down. sold the tyres and rims, dunlop sp 3000 much better for me....the 104 have had some good reviews here from members, we think it might have been the low 30mm wall on the 19's that gave poor traction on putting the pedal down, not much give in the 30 mm wall very hard..
I have them on my TS50 (235/40/18) and they're great. I will get them again when it's time to replace. Suprised me how good they were when I first bought them, as I was expecting them not to be. Quiet, doesn't tramline, good grip on wet and dry roads. Highly recommended.

So does this mean you have tried the Dunlops in the same size as the K104's you had? 19" and a 30 profile tyre is a difficult size tyre to get a good launch, especially at the drags. I don't think I would have noticed a difference in a Dunlop SP3000 19X30X265 vs a Hankook K104 in a 19X30X265 at launch, be it on a drag strip or on the street.

How do you rate them with the original tyres fitted.
Well over the next few weeks we'll be trying out these Hankook K104's on the XR VCT. I'm running SP9000's and will be interesting to note the differences although the XR6 HP and VCT have different rear suspension setups.

If by original you mean the Dunlop SP9000, I'd give the Dunlop SP9000 4/10 and the Hankook K104 7.5/10. In no way am I suggesting the K104's are the best, there are better tyres, but at double+ the price of the K104's.
BAGTHO, I have replied to your email, hope it helps.
