Just bought 4 Slotted rotors and Ultimate pads all round today.

Never attempted a full brake replacement before.
Another learning curve.
Looking forward to a "NO"

problem time doing it.

Tried to attach a piccy but it says i'm not allowed/do not have permission.
I'm logged on, what more does it need. Piccy was scaled down too. Never mind.

Don't be surprised to see a new thread started with: "Help"

when i start on the replacement.
Everyone i spoke to said: "It's dead easy". Yeah, right. We'll see, being optimistic ofcourse, hehehe.

No wonder it took such a long time today. Hehehehe.

Started just before lunch. My son and i just plodded nice and gently to make sure we did everything correctly. Around 4 hrs later the lot was done.

The brakes are nothing short of sensational. Bit sluggish to start of with, but after applying them around 6-8 times we could feel the difference.
All nice and slowly, taking it easy to bed them in properly.

Having had the car since new gives me the knowledge of what they were like since day one. Had them skimmed and ultimate pads put on around 60,000. Very good then but i don't believe they were as good then, to what they are now.
Present speedo reading is 107,000.

Took piccies of the before and after. (beauty of digital camera's).

At least i did not have to place a "Help" message on this forum. Yeehar!
